The reef is made up of pore corals, with
shrimp gobies peering out of the holes, and coral ledges.
In addition to a bevy of moray eels, reefs are thick with anthias, clownfish and
shrimp gobies, and both hawksbill and green sea turtles are quite common.
In the meantime, marine divers are now collecting those miniature fish that they already knew about but never figured were worth anything:
shrimp gobies (with their commensal shrimp), crabs that live in the spines of sea urchins, fish that live in the body cavity of sea cucumbers and jawfish and garden eels that live in the substrate.
The goby / shrimp combo is fascinating, and frankly, I can't see any reason to buy
a shrimp goby without the shrimp.

gobies advertise frantically from what seems like every coral head, trying to tempt you along with the passing fish to utilize their services.
Indeed, there are at least three ship wrecks to explore around the island which a large array of sea creatures call home, such as seahorses,
shrimps,
gobies, octopuses, eels and lion fish.

Cleaning
shrimps inhabit the many anemones,
gobies, blennies pop out of their hiding places from the various coral heads.
At the Riau Archipelago, take slow and easy dives around Bintan Island to comb through the pristine coral reef for a myriad of small critters like
gobies, octopus and
shrimp.
It is one of the best places to see the Pontoh's pygmy seahorse, as well as a myriad of nudibranch, frogfish, scorpionfish, blennies,
gobies, pipefish, crab and
shrimp.
