Some of
the shrine quests were blessings, but some had puzzles on the inside.

shrine quests and proving to be knowledgeable about the world, crediting his late teacher for many of the tidbits.

shrine quests open up, which all have ability upgrades and lead to a final shrine quest with the ultimate «Secret» boss of the game and the much - talked - about Motorcycle that can send you through the fields, mountains, and valleys of Hyrule like you're some kind of Biker.

Once your first four combat challenges and completed the
shrines, you're sent on a
quest to complete four sets of three
shrines located near the four Divine Beasts, each with unique methods of entrance which will see you revisiting a few world bosses and solving a few minor puzzles in the overworld — nothing major, but nice reasons to get out and explore the land of Hyrule a little bit more.
The
shrines here are great and the extra
quests are nice, but the moments of genius that made Breath of the Wild great aren't here, and that's a shame.

With a ton of side
quests and
shrines to distract you with, there are plenty of activities for you to keep busy with.
Other times you'll find yourself stumbling across a
quest in order to complete a
shrine (these were usually my favorite to do).
In the new
quest, once you find Damballah's
shrine, you have two options: face the boss, the «Great Uru» right away, or go for his acolytes to reduce his power.
There are side
quests that earn
Shrines, and a side
quest that earns a useful item of clothing, but to a surprisingly great degree, completing side
quests has been downgraded in Breath of the Wild to the single least important element of the challenges the player is afforded.
Zelda: Breath of the Wild's Ja Baij Shrine is one of four
Shrines required to complete the The Isolated Plateau
quest, alongside the Keh Nanut Shrine and the Owa Daim Shrine, and doing so will earn you the Bomb rune.

quests to interact with, and overall fun to be had.

After that, you then have four new
quests, each of which containing three
shrines each.

Shrines of The Great Plateau:
With many little
quests and things to do, the game created an almost perfect fairy - tale atmosphere, with dancing brooms and sunken mermaid
shrines.
The memories, all the orbs from the 120
shrines, and I also wanted to collect all the clothes, upgrade all the clothes, and complete all the side
quests and such.
Destroying
shrines, blowing up silos, taking out roadblocks and liberating outpost even if unique, are still the same
quests over and over in the end.

Now, I didn't pour as many hours into Skyrim as most did, primarily due to having to juggle multiple titles at any given time, so after around twenty or so hours I became distracted and moved on to whatever else was vying for my attention; with that said, one of my fondest gaming memories of recent times involve
questing with my homeboy Sven until we somehow became separated, arriving at Whiterun to be confronted with a letter informing me of his death (Which I tried fruitlessly to avoid by spamming previous saves to no avail) and then venturing back out into the bitter wilds alone in order to retrieve his corpse and place it upon a
shrine behind my abode in Riverwood.
NPCs found in the
shrine (or out in the world) can also provide
quests to undertake.
In addition to the
shrines, there are many item
quests, a ridiculous 900 Korok seeds to collect — I'm glad for the DLC's Korok seed hunting mask!
Even after making the credits roll, I know there are
shrines and side
quests out there still waiting for me — and I can't wait to go back.
With over 100
shrines, numerous
quests and constant challenges, The Legend of Zelda: Breadth Of The Wild is a staple action adventure game for the Nintendo Switch that never ceases to amaze.
Not just through the
quests that make up its story, but in the
Shrines that help you chart a course through each fresh area.
It shouldn't be hard to come across these various
shrines in the world and you can get an upgrade for your tablet by doing a main side
quest past Kakariko Village in a smaller town towards the coast.
