at home to ensure the health of our other patients.
Veterinary services performed
at the
pet owner's
home include wellness exams, non-emergency
sick visits, vaccinations, diagnostics and treatment.
If you see anything out of the ordinary or you think that your
pet might be
sick, make sure to give your veterinarian a call and NEVER treat your
pet at home with any medications without directions from your veterinarian first!
There were many nights when, instead of leaving a
sick pet at the practice overnight, they'd take him
home and watch over him in their bedroom or bathroom.

pet owners who are wondering what to do to help their
sick exotic
pets at home.
The reasons behind this may differ: either your hotel isn't
pet - friendly or your
pet doesn't like to travel, or they're just too
sick or too old for a road trip; but the bottom line is that you have to leave them
at home while you're gone.
Unfortunately, there are a lot of common items in our
homes that are toxic to
pets and may make your dog or cat
sick or possibly put their life
at risk if ingested.
