There is not
enough side margin in the machine case to comfortably hold them without accidentally changing pages far too often.
The Scribd app is imo pretty unreadable on a 5 ″ Android phone because of the
huge side margins; when enlarging the tiny fonts, you have a few words per line.
If you don't allow for this, the binding -
side margin can look smaller than the outside margin.
Font Size: press the «Aa» button just right of the space bar, and a menu will come up that allows you to select one of 8 font sizes, three typefaces («regular,» «condensed,» and my favorite, «sans serif»), line spacing («small,» my favorite «medium,» or «large»), and words per line (which sets
the side margins; I use «default»).
Notes on sources, if I need to mention those, go in
the side margin as well.
Reduce your top and bottom margins to 0.5 ″ and
your side margins to no less than 0.75 ″.
However, if you are having trouble condensing your letter to fit on a single page you can shorten up the top, bottom and
side margins to 3/4» or 1/2» or even a little tighter.
For best results, use equal top and
side margins, with a bottom margin that is a bit bigger — about one - and - a-half times the size of the other margins.
