The game presents you with
missions and additional
side quests to perform should you wish to stray from the main path, all of which are fun and
rewarding in their own right.
Exploring is actually an integral part of the game; there are story
missions and
side quests that
reward the characters with experience points for uncovering hidden items or locating secret passageways.
So even though most
missions do stress the player's skill as you navigate this zombie - infested world, it does serve as excellent practice to master these controls, especially when you engage in
side missions that may not have
rewards that are worth your while.
Side missions are entirely optional, but the
rewards are in the form of resources or new recruits for Mother Base.
Aside from the
side missions — which consist largely of beating up faithless husbands, racing thieves across rooftops, and killing targets for money — you'll be able to ferret out hundreds of treasure chests, eagle feathers, semi-mystical glyphs and statuettes hidden throughout the world, gaining
rewards for finding them all.
This introduces the opportunity for
side missions and secrets to find that can yield tangible
rewards and develop the game's world and fiction.
This
side -
mission also involves searching for treasures, but you're
rewarded with a secret special item.
Most of the
side missions feel
rewarding, especially as you begin to build a crew of survivors to roll with.
Side ops and collectible items like blueprints litter the battlefield,
rewarding players who take time between story
missions to flesh out their forces.
There are 150
Side Ops
missions and all of them offer a GMP
reward.
Side -
missions can also be embarked upon that lead you to new dungeons, but never really manage to break away from the typical formula of «go here and kill some things so you can get a thing,» often for a slightly lackluster
reward.
There's also a grand total of fifty
missions available on Challenge, which is a nice distraction from story mode, where you can also take on some
side - quests that
reward you with bonus weapons.
These
side missions should present ample opportunity for some interesting
mission types outside of the bland lot we see in the storyline and cool
rewards, or at least that's what you might expect, but sadly they're a fairly tedious bunch, falling firmly into the «grind» category of
mission style.
There are always unhappy colonies or roving Cylon ships or
side -
missions that
reward you with the resources needed to expand your fleet, and eventually hopefully allow you to field multiple forces.
A small nod to singleplayer is included in the form of
missions such as a Speeder chase on Endor or piloting a Tie fighter, each designed to act more as a tutorial for the online
side of things with some minor
rewards for teir completion.
Why do they never add
side missions to these mysteries, we had a lot of them in San Andreas which I thought they would add in this one to expand on the myths and legends but they've just done what they did back then... add them but don't give us any
rewards / answers.
Your curiosity is often
rewarded with extra crafting parts or
side missions.
To make things more interesting, you will sometimes encounter other characters, who will give you small
side - quests within
missions in order to win
rewards, such as taking down certain bases and defeating certain enemies.
Those
side missions will come with
rewards in the form of weapon upgrades, so they're certainly worth taking on just to get your hands on more firepower that can help make the story
missions easier to complete.
The real problem is that
side missions and
reward systems within the levels don't contribute to what makes Fortnite fun, and actively discourage cooperation with teammates.
In addition to the Skill Tree, «Watch Dogs» also has a Progression
Rewards wheel that unlocks various weapons, vehicles and achievements, depending on the amount of mini-games or
side missions completed.

side missions to unlock quests that provide
rewards for the raid.
This is a simple
Side Mission with one hell of a
reward!
It soon becomes apparent that you can become the hired hands of various NPC's, and Riddick's powerful reputation can also earn you a fair few
side missions, which if completed
rewards you with cigarette packets (unlocks various artwork and movie stills) or currency, which can be made use of in various ways.
Beautiful graphics and a steady framerate only help the
rewarding gameplay experience and unforgettable squad mates ensure that you will always have a great time taking on
side missions and experimenting.
Use the radio and warp to Lysander's Junkyard then speak with the General to begin a new
Side Mission that
rewards York with the last possible upgrade to all of the Sheriff Department vehicles!
