There is no doubt that Bale needs to get the hell out
of Real if he ever wants to be the kind
of player he once was... this isn't to suggest that he his skills have diminished, he simply isn't the fiery, determined and aggressive player that struck fear in the hearts
of his opponents... the small fish in a big
pond just doesn't fit his profile... I can't even remember the last player I've seen
who has become so invisible on the big stage (maybe Pogba last year)... maybe it's a case
of culture shock or maybe he wasn't able to handle the notoriety that invariably came with his big money signing, but regardless
of how it happened this guy is a shadow
of his former self... although I doubt he would ever come to a team in such disarray, he could quite easily fill the shoes
of Sanchez,
who ironically was in a similar predicament in Barcelona, as Bale would return to his favoured left
side and would be given the same freedoms that have allowed Sanchez to flourish... ultimately I think the cache
of wearing a Real jersey and competing for the top trophies would be too difficult to give up for a wannabe club run by suits
who care little about those kinds
of accolades
For those
who want to keep tabs on what is going on on the other
side of the

From the, supposedly, top ranking book reviewers — in the US that would perhaps include the New York Times» Janet Maslin and Dwight Garner, to name just two; and on the other
side of the
pond, possibly The Guardian's Olivia Laing and Michael Hogan come to mind — to the blogger reviewers,
who are gaining in popularity and credibility (thank goodness), and some
of them, like our own Cathy Speight and Big Al, and the likes
of Linda Parkinson - Hardman, are becoming an integral part
of the Indie Revolution.
It went on to detail that Imperial Romans are the ones ultimately responsible for current American gauge sizes, seeing as it was they
who built the first long distance roads over on this
side of the
pond, implying along the way that 4 feet, 8.5 inches were the original specifications for an Imperial Roman war chariot.
From the other
side of the
pond, my best wishes for the protesters and my sincere respect for Jim Hansen and others
who have followed the dictates

side of the
pond: interns (or their parents)
who pay large sums
of money to secure unpaid work placements.
