Admittedly we've had the odd
side story game but no real proper 2D multi-anime series game on either the PS3 or 360.
In that, we have an interesting amalgam of some of the classic
side story games via a third person view.
My first experiences with them were arcade games such as «Virtual On», then «Iron Soldier» on the Atari Jaguar, followed by «Gundam Side Story» on the Dreamcast (I even bought a Sega Saturn and imported the Saturn - only Gundam
Side Story games, such was my infatuation with the series).

Game Side Story: The biggest winner in this deal will be the entire social gaming sector.

story mode, or can simply go at it in an Arena Battle against endless minions.
The
game has all the components of a good leisure
side - scrolling semi-strategy, with upgradable units, shops, money, grenade throwing and so on but it lacks depth: there is no
story really, there is no premise, tutorials are silly as the whole writing overall, enemies are not explained (nor their skills), and strategy pretty much boils down to clicking on whatever units cools down first (to produce that unit and storm the enemy's portal).
The gritty
story, varied
side missions, and jittery subway rides create the type of seedy environment that's perfect for attracting tourists,
gamers, and criminals alike.

story is quite simple and doesn't really hold up to many modern day
games but other than that this
game has everything a
side - scrolling classic remake should have with genius ideas including.
Brutal sandstorms can hit shredding enemies and throwing max around, optional
side quests to complete,
story missions, death races, brutal fights this
game has it all.
The characters are well written, familiar gameplay mechanics such as the whistling and being able to pick up bodies is back, the
story has clever links to the
story of the other AC
games, the modern day is better and actually goes somewhere (albeit the ending is absolute wank) and the
side missions are implemented well into the goal of the main
story.
Sometimes it's little more than a few more weapons, another stage for multiplayer or some
side missions, but it's never something that completes the
story for the
game.
Exploring is actually an integral part of the
game; there are
story missions and
side quests that reward the characters with experience points for uncovering hidden items or locating secret passageways.
I'm guessing the difficulty will be on the lower
side compared to something like GTA4 (although maybe not, since that's already a really easy
game), but it looks like it will be a full adventure
game with lots of unique gameplay mechanics and a charming and funny
story.
The main quest takes the form of a road trip that helps keep things moving, while the focus on smaller
side -
stories means you can take the
game in digestible bites if that's your speed.
As you get closer to the end, the
game begins forcing you to perform
side missions in order to progress the main
story, which can be the laziest padding possible.
The
story is decent, but it's similar to the first one which was the only down
side to the
game in my eyes.
Aside from
story missions,
side quests and recurring activities like alleyway brawling and dice
games, there are random, pop - up scenarios that prompt awkward memories of Bethesda's early forays with radiant storytelling.
The main
story is just boring full of uninteresting characters but the
side quest lines save the
game from being a utter snore-fest.
I understand the
story at times is disjointed and the fighting is servicable at best but its still clearly a final fantasy
game with loads of secrets, locations, enemies and
side missions.
Unlike previous Final Fantasy titles however, the
game throws you into an open world right away, allowing you to go on advancing the
story or choosing from a variety of
side quests.
The physical release will contain the actual
game along with a handful of retro goodies, like an art book, a double -
sided poster, and a «making of» documentary by 2 Player Productions — the folks behind the documentaries Minecraft: The
Story of Mojang, Double Fine Adventure!
Although some of the minor storylines weigh this drama down (including a silly one about Weaver's mother wanting to scatter her husband's ashes hours before the draft), the
story succeeds in presenting a different
side of the
game.
The second
game is DEFO worth playing,
story just as interesting and explains some form of origin but not as long as first
game,
side missions balance it out a bit.
While the
story may be a little on the short
side the
game makes up for it by being a well written follow up to the film and comes to a surprisingly epic conclusion.
However, unlike many of the rail shooters that have come before, both
games offer enticing
story elements to Resident Evil lore, such as Wesker's
side of the events the first Resident Evil title.
I personally do not enjoy playing
side - scrollers with an analog stick either, so my experience with Cave
Story + as a portable
game has not been all that great.
Up to four players can team up to progress through the entirety of the
game's

Levelling up via
story missions alone was impossible in the main
game, as level requirements would jump enough between two main quests to force you into a couple of hours of
side quests, exploration and grinding.
The Phantom Pain is without a shadow of a doubt one of Kojima's biggest endeavors yet, it is a
game that is rich in soul, spirit, offers one of the largest maps ever seen in a Metal Gear Solid
game and offers a missing
side of the
story that we have waited years to find out.
Two movies and change (there's a Captain America: The First Avenger flashback in
story mode) worth of LEGO - fied
game levels, a handful of
side missions based on some of the other Marvel movies (Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, The Winter Soldier) and a bunch of free - roaming exploration to do after the credits roll.

side story occurring parallel to the timeline of the first

I am ashamed to say that I first jumped into the
side story about Maria without knowing anything else about the
game.

game does allow you to roam freely and also take on both

It's a
side story that fits somewhere around the 2nd chapter, and hints at the overall themes of the
game.
While the
game does have a few repeating staples throughout the
game like stunt car racing, liberating outposts, rescuing hostages, and blowing up explosive silos, the
story and
side missions are anything but formulaic.
If you are done with the
story portion of the
game, you can also try your hand at some of the «paradise episodes» which are essentially
side content to the
story mission.
