Using the data available to Sportsbook Insider subscribers, I have examined three Week 7 matchups involving very one -
sided money percentages.
What's even more interesting is how the line has moved based on those one -
sided money percentages.
In fact, many bettors that I have spoken with believe that one -
sided money percentages are an excellent indicator of sharp money, but that's simply not the case.
Once again, these games with one -
sided money percentages consistently involve the league's elite.
Despite that one -
sided money percentage, the spread didn't move until Gobert was officially ruled out on Thursday afternoon, at which point Utah dropped from -1 to +1.5.
Not exact matches
If the general public (based on Betting
Percentage) is on one
side of the game, but the point spread moves in the opposite direction, it is often an indicator that «big
money» (and most likely «smart
money») is taking a position in the direction of the line movement (and opposite to the Public).
For those who are unfamiliar, reverse line movement occurs when the line moves against the public betting
percentages and it is typically an indicator that big
money has come down on one
side.
However, several months ago we started to receive the
percentage of
money wagered on each
side from one of the sharpest offshore sportsbooks.

side with whichever teams is receiving a majority of the
money — especially if they're receiving less than 50 % of spread bets.
Betting market: Not only are the ticket

The other
side of the coin is betting on favorites, which will give you a strong winning
percentage, but can still produce a loss in
money.
Seems to me the best
percentage would come from games which might have 70 - 80 % of the total bets placed on one
side but have 70 - 80 % of the
money being bet on the other
side.
Although we've only had
money percentages for one season, that ticket
percentage represents historically one -
sided public betting.
Bettors have gladly played the -3.5, making the Rams the most popular
side of Week 9 in both
percentage of tickets AND
percentage of
money, according to our Sharp Action Report.
I believe the current number will rise, but it will still end up as one of their lowest backings since we began tracking the
percentage of
money on each
side.
Inevitably, the rationale will now shift to the official translations being compromised in terms of authenticity — or, the content itself being compromised by Viz's tendency to edit out potentially offensive images or text, if, in fact, they're still doing that — since, at heart, there's a certain
percentage of the Naruto and Bleach and One Piece readership that simply will never pay
money to read this stuff, but Viz, I suspect, anticipates they can snatch away a certain lucrative
percentage of the non-paying fans to the
side of the angels.
Although they chose to borrow only a very small
percentage of their home value, they now have
