The easiest thing to do is sew
a simple rolled hem around all the edges, and add the straps.
For this, I went with

I wasn't sure exactly how this fabric would work, and given that I have YARDS of it, I was a little lazy in my sewing - basically the trace of a skirt - front and back - and a
simple waistband with a
rolled hem at the bottom.
You have a
simple, mid-rise waistline and a skinny fit down to the knees, with a
rolled, straight
hem and some trendy ripping, fraying and wearing along the way.
Simple is often best here, such as matching your jeans with a plain black tee for a dressed - down feel or a loose white tee with
rolled sleeves to echo your
rolled hems.
