Ultimately though, the Embassy is
simply preparing for the day when the US government will make it their
job to determine if our child (who, at that point, will already be legally deemed a Palmer in a Haitian court of law)
meets the
requirements to become a US citizen, and whether they will give him his visa for entry when it's time for him to come home forever.
