The
sinful choices of all
human beings then further add to the chaos, injustice and misery we so often find in the
world.
But yet, the fact remains that in man's «common» experience, in those very
human and historical — and
sinful — limitations we know so well, we have the right to find in parabolic fashion creaturely representations of that which God is, and that which God has done, and that which God purposes to bring to pass in and for and through and with and to this his
world and the men and women whom he has placed in it.

human judgement can pass — eternity asks of thee and of every individual among these million millions only one question, whether thou hast lived in despair or not, whether thou wast in despair in such a way that thou didst not know thou wast in despair, or in such a way that thou didst hiddenly carry this sickness in thine inward parts as thy gnawing secret, carry it under thy heart as the fruit of a
sinful love, or in such a way that thou, a horror to others, didst rave in despair.
Just as God, who is ever and by nature sinless and can not sin, comes to the
sinful world because he loves it, so the saint goes into the
world because the holiness of God has made him real and overflows his humanity into
human fellowship.
Conventional Christianity asserted that, as
sinful creatures in a fallen
world ruled by an Almighty God,
humans had no rights at all but were at the mercy of a gracious God.

sinful world in relation to the ultimate
human destiny.
