The same argument could be applied to

There are currently 853 Starter trusts, 150 Established Trusts, 17 Regional Trusts and 11 System trusts, as well as 1,762
single academy trusts (SATs).

Whilst this might not have been an issue for schools becoming academies on their own (as
a single academy trust) this is becoming more of an issue for multi ‑ academy trusts and particularly for sponsored academies who may be reluctant to inherit either crumbling buildings or new buildings commissioned by a local authorities without a full set of warranties.

But they saved more when they belonged to
a single academy trust, at # 1,183 per pupil compared to # 1,255 in a MAT — a saving of # 72.
