Also the
size of your
muffin tins will affect the outcome so
if yours are smaller, just keep an eye on them and when they smell good and look done, start testing them with a toothpick.
If I'm serving these to guests I like to make them in normal
sized muffin tins but they can also be made into mini
muffins and served as finger food for dessert.
If I just say
muffin tins it always means regular
sized.
If you want real bite
sized «bites» you can use a mini
muffin tin, which I don't have.
I was thinking more like a healthy bite -
sized sweet that I could eat straight out of the
muffin tin if I had to.
(Baking times may vary while changing the
sizes) Since most standard
muffin tins have 6 or 12
muffin cups,
if you plan on making the larger
muffins and you only have a 6 cup
muffin pan, I recommend adding 1 to 2 tablespoons of water to the empty cups.
If anyone is interested — I did make them in a full -
size muffin tin and it made 5.
If you use a regular -
sized muffin tin, you will need equal pieces of bread and eggs for each «basket».
Give it a whirl — you could make a variety of
sizes — I used regular
sized muffin tins, but they'd be awesome in mini too
if you have them.
