That's right, I NEVER
skip voiced dialogues whereas most sane people in the world just read along and mash the skip text button.

This update, which is two months late, adds new music to the pause menu, adds a new manual camera mode with little assist and increased viewing distance, several camera design improvements like less scripted cameras, improved scrolling through the Totals Menu, a new volume speech option, a new «gibberish»
voice sound FX, the ability to speed through
dialogue and the ability to
skip cutscenes.
Dying is annoying in this game, which doesn't have anything to do with the fact that you die but more so because a robotic
voice lacking any kind of personality patronisingly says «that must of really hurt» or «wow, I think you deserved that one» and I felt tempted on so many occasions to just mute the sound completely and found myself
skipping the
dialogue sections completely.
Also the game has a problem of
skipping over
dialogue with the newest
voice message you receive.
Unfortunately, you may find yourself hitting the
skip button to avoid the terrible
voice acting and cheesy implementation of memorable movie
dialogue.
This game is a unique as far as puzzles go, a lot of I haven't come across before, and I enjoyed them very much... some took me quite a while to solve The game opened in widescreen... a definite plus, hate having to change things There are 3 modes of play: Easy - Expert - Pro... Expert players will love this game as there is no hand holding at all... no sparkles, no hints and no
skips I played the Easy mode where hints charged in about 15 seconds and not much longer for
skips I quite like the HOS as well... lists, silhouettes and find one thing to open or find another object but done differently than the norm There are no
voice overs, which I didn't mind for a change, not an overly lot of
dialogue to read either Graphics were good without being spectacular.
While Aloy is winningly
voiced by Ashly Burch (Borderlands 2), she's really the only character who feels fully realized (I don't think I could name a single supporting character in the game), and I frequently found myself
skipping the hours of optional
dialogue so I could just get back to the hunt.
The new update coming later in June, first to PC and then to console versions of the game, will include a host of new improvements: an optional new camera mode that gives the player full control over where it points, the choice to
skip dialogue or cut out the gibberish
voices, the ability to
skip cutscenes altogether, and tons more.
Another problem is that the
voice acting in the game is pretty awful, with massive gaps in between sentences; the awkward and annoying
dialogue is made infuriating and leaving players just wanting to
skip the Shatner - worthy delivery.
