as Girl Scouts we obediently
wore our uniforms, but also deftly broke the school
dress code by hemming the
skirts well above the knee.
Either way, I think Katy will
wear something clearly identifiable
as a
skirt or
dress.

I wanted to show you this outfit, cause I can not wait to
wear this
dress (here I'm
wearing it
as a
skirt) again.
As a rule, I only
wear skirts and
dresses when it is hot.
If you have a sheath
dress in your closet
wear it
as a
skirt by
wearing the sweater over instead of under the
dress.
Also, that
dress /
skirt is super amazing, I am never clever enough to
wear dresses as skirts!
Otherwise, I love the cropped length for
wearing with
skirts /
dresses (and high - rise jeans
as shown here).
It's already Spring, but why do I find some days still so, so cold??? I dislike
wearing pants, so I try to
wear skirts or
dresses as much
as possible.
For now, I've been
wearing them with casual denim on the weekends,
as seen with this eyelet and overall combo, but once the weather actually cooperates I can't wait to
wear them with a floral
skirt or linen
dress and bare legs.

As Summer heats up I gravitate towards easy going t - shirt style
dresses, slides and boyfriend shorts for everyday and switch to a mid-length
skirt and boots for occasional
wear.

Before I started this blog and before I started following other fashion blogs I never would have thought to
wear a
dress as a
skirt.
A bandeau
dress could become a high - waisted
skirt, a scarf could become a belt, or a necklace could be
worn as a cool headband.
The black
dress underneath is ideal, it is super versatile (in this case we
wore it
as a
skirt) and we loved how it turned out with the top over it.
However, lately I've begun to
wear more revealing clothes such
as dresses,
skirts, tank tops, even spaghetti strap tops.
Even though in the»90s I wasn't that into fashion,
as a kid I always say my mom
wearing these kind of big jackets with oversized sleeves or shoulders and high waist
skirts and wanted also to
dress like that.
I have been
wearing the
dress as a top, I just
wear a knee length black
skirt and a black jacket, so for this post I decided to add a little fun
skirt.
I don't like
wearing pants either
as opposed to
skirts or
dresses but I love the pattern on this pair.
I'm a big fan of
wearing dresses and
skirts with tights and booties
as well.
In this case it's the white midi
dress (I folded down the top and
wore it
as a
skirt).
There are leggings which are meant for
wearing under shorts,
skirts and
dresses,
as well
as the ones that can be
worn as pants.
Ultimately, I decided to style my pleated maxi
skirt as a
dress for this month's theme, and I am so happy to have had the opportunity to
wear it at least once!
