The
gameplay does
look like it will get very repetitive after a while, all hack and
slash games do.
Though the camera is often problematic and those
looking for a story - driven experience will likely be disappointed, Heart &
Slash still presents a detailed and delightful world as well as a surprisingly deep
gameplay experience.
You'd think Capcom would give DMC to a capable hack &
slash developer like Team Ninja or Platinum Games, hell even the Dante's Inferno guys would've been a decent choice; instead they opt to give it to the guys who produced two decent titles who preferred story over
gameplay since the
gameplay in both titles is incredibly boring when
looked at its contemporaries who outshine them in every way.
With hack and
slash gameplay making up the bulk of combat, and elements of stealth incorporated too, players will be able to utilise the characters revised move - sets in this latest adventure as they
look to invade and infiltrate enemy fortifications with the grappling hook.
Gameplay wise the game
looks like it is going to be your typical hack and
slash affair, which is always a good thing in my opinion.
Though we were only shown a glimpse of
gameplay, it
looks like you'll be sneaking around in the dark quite a bit, before hacking and
slashing any foes who spot you too soon.
Choose your faction and engage in epic warfare, that honestly
looks kind of awesome from the
gameplay clips, while you shoot,
slash, stab and power - dive on your enemies as you splatter their blood on the battlefield.
The game's combat system incorporates hack - n -
slash, beat»em up with time manipulation to create fast and fun
looking gameplay.
