It's great to pair with jeans and booties or a long
sleeveless vest for a fall look that doesn't leave you sweating.

They look COZY but extremely impractical (the only outfit I can see these functioning with
would be a tight long sleeve shirt, with a
vest /
sleeveless coat over it, and these on top...) Call me conservative (I really am NOT;) but these don't strike my fancy at all, and I am loving almost all of the sweater dresses, long tunics, jeggings, and legwarmer styles that are hot
for fall and winter..
Paired with this comfy orange top (which is fantastic
for the Houston heat because it is a
fall color, but
sleeveless) and lots of tassel accessories, I think this
would make a fantastic first day of school outfit.
So, I
had a totally awesome outfit originally planned
for today featuring my new
sleeveless vest generously given to me by Holly from the
fall CAbi line.
We are now not limited to varsity sweaters
for Fall / Winter, but how about a
sleeveless densely knitted midi dress with two (front and back) bold varsity «
v»
for the warm season?!
Rolled - up sleeves, a layered
sleeveless vest, and a slouchy knit top with a whole lot of texture added to the mix and there ya
have it, my reliable layered get - up
for the onset of
fall here in LA (which, in most other places, doesn't really count as
fall).
The
sleeveless trench
vest / coat
has been a trend
for almost 3 years now, but I got my hands on this particular one in
Fall 2015.
However since it
has still been relatively warm here, I paired the
sleeveless sweater with my go - to booties and a burgundy skirt
for a
fall - ish look.
For late summer or early
fall, I love how it looks paired with another
sleeveless top like my favorite strappy cami or even a
sleeveless dress
would be cute.
I guess if summer only
has to last
for the next week and a half, I can tolerate its last hurrah before it gets cool enough to wear
fall clothes (or
sleeveless vests, as the case may be).
I do really like the retro look of the
sleeveless blazer, but I'm
having a hard time picturing it
for fall / winter.
The dress is
sleeveless, so in keeping with the transition idea, I layered a dark brown lace tee underneath and added the duster length
vest for a playful
fall look.
