You can put anything on
a slice of baked sweet potato and it looks like a fancy little hors d'oeuvres.

of rice and beans to go with my tacos, but since I had half
of a huge
sweet potato left from another dinner, I
sliced it up, tossed with coconut oil, seasoned with the same spices and popped the pan into the oven to make
baked sweet potato fries!
But as I'm a fan
of doing something creative with the classics, I used thinly
sliced and
baked sweet potato as the bread and it turned out to be great with some cheese, pear, walnuts and thyme.

I love making homemade crispy
baked sweet potato fries like these, but the chopping
of the
potato itself takes me forever — and that's if I don't accidentally
slice my finger off in the process... (my knife skills really do need some work — it's a miracle this isn't more
of a reality!).
We topped them with a
slice of garden tomato, fresh green leaf lettuce and my «secret sauce», served with fresh made
sweet potato fries I
baked in the oven and a garden salad and dinner was done!
I basically served them large, soft chunks
of food they could safely manipulate such as avocado
slices,
baked salmon, and cooked
sweet potato.
All you need is a
baking sheet, a drizzle
of olive oil, and a little Himalayan salt tossed on your veggies

of using fried tortillas for the nachos — which are salty, processed and less nutritious — this recipe calls for thinly -
sliced,
baked,
sweet potato chips.
Or
bake a
sweet potato, defrost some frozen veggies, sprinkle in some black beans plus a
slice of avocado and boom!
Whether you prefer them slathered with butter and cinnamon sugar,
baked in a casserole dish and covered with marshmallows or
sliced up french - fry style, you won't find a shortage
of sweet potatoes here.
Bake thin
slices of sweet potato or pumpkin in the oven at 200 °F for 2 hours.
