slices over the top of the cake, overlapping to make beautiful jeweled tiles of fruit.

Prepare «sandwiches» like you would a grilled cheese: butter one side
of each
cake slice, spread Nutella
over non-buttered side and
top with strawberries.
You could also just neatly arrange
sliced fresh cherries
over the
top of the
cake.
