Autumn Mixed Bean Soup With Sausage
The sliced smoked sausage in this soup can be a gourmet chicken sausage or turkey sausage or use a spicy andouille or kielbasa.
If none of those are within your reach, add
some sliced smoked sausage for the last 30 minutes of cooking time.
Then chopped garlic, onion, and bell peppers are added along with
sliced smoked sausage and the pot is cooked for another hour or so until the beans are perfectly tender and a gravy is formed.
Throw in
sliced smoked sausage, sautéed chicken pieces and any seafood you like before baking.
Slice the smoked sausage thinly and add to the pot once the oil is warm.
