Today's recipe uses both tigernut flour and
sliced tigernuts, the latter being both very similar to oats in both texture and taste.
Currently following AIP so can't do nuts but I did substitute
sliced tigernuts for the pecans and used bison.

Sliced TigerNuts, Organic Maple Syrup, Organic Cacao Powder, Organic Sacha Inchi, Sea Salt

If you feel like your food processor can handle it than they can be whole but
tigernuts are very hard so sometimes its easier to get them ground when they are already
sliced.
