Even people with
less than a high school education today recognize the priority of the brain over the blood, so much so in fact, that in the movie, Hannibal (about a cannibalistic serial killer), the thought of
slicing out tiny parts of a person's brain,
cooking them in a pan, and serving the pieces to that person to eat has become in the public's mind a more disturbing image than, say, serving a person a glass of their own blood to drink, which appears relatively tame in comparison.

For instance, zucchini and summer squash are softer and will
cook more quickly so something

Add torn kale leaves and
sliced Fresno chile (seeded for
less heat) and
cook, tossing, until kale is wilted; season with white wine vinegar, salt, and pepper.
While the sweet potatoes took the full 40 minutes to soften and the salmon needed a smidge
less than the recommended 16 (I used wild salmon, which is leaner than farmed and
cooks faster), I had more than ample time to
slice the veg and pear and whip up the tangy ponzu sauce, which I would happily pour on any protein or veg.
