The RAV4 EV is certainly no canyon carver, but the placement of the battery lowers the center of gravity allowing even sharp curves to be taken with confidence while exhibiting
only slight body roll when pushed hard.
The result is a balance
between slight body roll and supreme handling that openly defies the S63 Coupe's 4 600 + pound mass.
On the handling course, the IS absorbed the small bumps easily, and exhibited only
slight body roll through the 35 - mph slalom.
As much fun as we had in the turns with the Lancer Ralliart, it still falls short of the Evo MR.. There was
some slight body roll in the corners and, when pushed very hard, some understeer also became evident.
A slight body roll is experienced on turns, hence this could be worked upon to improve the handling further.
