It boasts
slightly better bass depth and a thicker, fuller sound but still has a cleaner, sharper note presentation.
It's simply the best audio system in any car, although we did find the Vanquish to have
slightly better bass response.
Not exact matches
Again, they can't touch the
better headphones around the $ 1,000 mark, but their balanced, yet
slightly bass - boosted sound plays beautifully for the money.
My audiophile ears would prefer
better acoustics, however, as the
bass is
slightly heavy and treble not as crisp as other base sound systems.
What we get here is a nice, detailed audio that packs a punchy
bass, warm mids and
slightly lacking highs that are still perfectly

Running the Ella headphones passively sounded
good, but music consistently came across
slightly thin in the upper
bass and midrange.
Although clearer, the QC 15s didn't fare much
better, delivering distant, hollow
bass with a
slightly muted vocal.
The $ 299 Crave Pro is
slightly louder, but also adds dual - subwoofers for
better bass.
Don't get us wrong: We love our Audeze EL - 8, which offer
better detail up top, along with fantastically firm, and full
bass, but with the NightHawk,
bass brings a
slightly more visceral experience.
Noise isolation is outstanding and the sound quality is great as
well, with strong
bass, lush mids, and smooth — albeit
slightly docile — treble.
The soundstage isn't as wide as some of the
good Bluetooth earphones out there, and I could notice
bass cut off and
slightly crackling sound at the highest volume level.
Overall, the headphones provide a neutral sound that works
well with just about every genre of music — though, it has the typical Klipsch mid-centric sound signature with taught
bass and
slightly rolled off highs.
It can also
slightly distort loud sounds like explosions and
bass - heavy music as
well as overwhelming other frequencies.
It offers only
slightly better sound than the Echo Dot, and it can't compete with the voice or
bass from the Fabriq.
Pushed a little harder (and louder) with Nas's N.Y. State of Mind it continued to impress and while
slightly over emphasising the
bass it sounded even
better than we'd expected.
And I was pleasantly surprised by how
good it sounds — even on my tiny Google Home Mini, which has
slightly improved
bass compared the Amazon Echo Dot in my living room.
A-Audio's on - ear Lyric headphones look
good and are built rock - solid, but purists should be aware of a
slightly bass - heavy sound signature.
