slightly bigger waves, off shore wind, but with a solid crowd factor at the locations that did have waves.
Today's G - Land Surf Report thanks to the G - Land Surf Camp was calling in
slightly bigger waves over in East Java this morning.
But we opted to head down towards to the southern end of the island and get
some slightly bigger waves.
We probably could have done the drive up to Balian and found
some slightly bigger waves but even at 2 - 3ft Uluwatu has still got more power and punch than Balian at 4ft.
As the week went on, the wind began to pick up, just enough that each day we had
slightly bigger waves.

When the
waves are
big during summer, Casablanca, a
wave that breaks
slightly north, can be a fun, good sized, long
wave.
This morning the 7th and out 6.45 AM surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was showing
wave height to be still hanging in there at chest to head high with maybe a couple of
slightly bigger one's hitting Middle Reef.
Yesterday
wave height was
slightly bigger by a foot or so but how do you shoot in the rain right.
Ok so we were up and on the road and heading for the East Coast by 6.00 AM and were happy to find
wave height a very clean and glassy chest to head high with the odd
slightly bigger set
waves.
Wave height was just a fun sized chest to
slightly over head on the
bigger set
waves.
Middle Reef will improve through out the falling tide, with
slightly bigger set
waves.
The tide was getting too fat for Middle Reef but all the same there were still at least 10 surfers out there with
slightly bigger set
waves coming through.
So as it shows in today's photo gallery we hit the road for Canggu, arriving at 7.45 AM to find
wave height a little
bigger in the 2 - 4ft range with the odd
slightly bigger freak set hitting the bombie and the right hander.
Ok so after this mornings 6.45 AM surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban to find
wave height in the 2 - 3ft range with the odd
slightly bigger freak set hitting Middle Reef.
As the tide was pushing in so did a few
bigger waves pushing the size into the chest to
slightly over head class.
As it shows in this current photo gallery
wave height at Keramas was still in the solid 5ft range with the occassional
slightly bigger freak set.
Wave height was only in the 1 - 2ft range with maybe a
slightly bigger set
wave hitting Middle Reef.
Arriving at Uluwatu to find 1 - 2ft
waves with a couple of
slightly bigger freak set
waves.
Middle Reef was
slightly bigger again with the set
waves in the head to well over head class and again no shortage of surfers out there.
Our 6.45 AM surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was really only showing
wave height to have dropped off down into the 1 - 2ft range with maybe just a
slightly bigger freak set hitting Middle Reef while the tide was low.
But even at the swell magnet of Indonesia
wave height was still only in the 2 - 3ft range with one or two
slightly bigger freak sets as the tide was filling in.
On arrival and as it shows in today's 55 strong photo gallery
wave height was in the 3 - 5ft range (head to double head high) with the couple of
slightly bigger freak sets just to keep us on our toes.
Wave height on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was looking
slightly bigger with waist to head high
waves between Kuta Reef and Airport Left.
