So leave your ego at the door and accept that you will have to lift
slightly less weight for a while, but once you improve your real
grip strength, you will be unstoppable and start activating muscles and motor units you didn't even know existed.

grip pull - ups are
slightly easier to perform than wide, overhand pull - ups because they place your arms in a stronger position and allow you to complete more reps; and since there is
less strain on your arm muscles, your biceps won't limit your movement and you'll be able to target your back more effectively.
Grab a barbell with an overhand

The front wheels have effectively received a
slightly larger share of the total but there's still a much larger proportion remaining towards the rear which had already begun to yaw through the turn but which is now really on the move because suddenly there is
less grip to restrain it.
My R26.R is of course now on Dunlop Sport Maxx TT tyres instead of the semi-slick Toyo 888s, and despite
slightly less outright stickiness, they're terrific, with loads of turn - in
grip and good, communicative progression.
It intervenes
slightly to support the driver when braking on a surface with
less grip on one side of the car.
The result is
slightly more lateral
grip,
slightly less body roll and generally sharper handling, at the expensive of some ride quality.
Bite was improved tremendously over the GLH, but at a cost — a
slightly harsher ride, and care had to be taken when pushing the car quickly over surfaces that were
less than ideal, as the little Omni could lose
grip going over bumps.
