No one has been harmed by + 1 degree warming since 1880 (+ / - 1 degree C., in my opinion) mainly in the Arctic, and those few people who live in the northern half of the Northern Hemisphere are certainly not complaining about slightly warmer nights since 1975!

If GHGs had the effect you suggest then the days might be slightly warmer but the night temperatures would stay constant.
Me, I don't think warmer winter nights are that big a deal, and not seeing any catastrophes from the last 2 ° warming, I'm not expecting a slightly warmer world to be that much different from today.
For example, Pat Michaels accepts AGW but considers it benign, it being mostly about slightly warmer winter nights at higher latitudes.

Then, think of having slightly open windows for ventilation — which you adjust when the room gets too warm or too cold, or if the wind starts to blow straight in the window opening, etc. then at night you pull the curtains (cloud cover?)
You might say that «extra» heat is stored in the atmosphere because it hasn't radiated out yet, and may warm the earth slightly at night.
