This simplified version is made in
the slowcooker and is delicious apres ski, fireside, after a building snowmen, snowshoeing, an afternoon skate or a walk in the crisp Fall leaves.
The only difference is I slice and brown my sausage first before I add it to the beans — but putting everything in
a slowcooker is so easy!

these slowcooker recipes.
Fortunately, the flavor of this minestrone soup (which can be prepared in either
a slowcooker or a pressure cooker) makes up for the fact that there are no beans or noodles.

Just a tip I use to make all of my shredded / cooked chicken, but I put it in
the slowcooker with a little broth and a few hours later it's falling apart and easy to shred / chop, I HATE cooking chicken so this works for me.
Place all ingredients in a Crockpot or
slowcooker and stir together.

I always make them in large batches in

The extra liquid and the texture of the potatoes is because you're using
the slowcooker - the liquid doesn't evaporate during cooking and it tends to make the texture of vegetables a lot softer.
This basic soap recipe uses coconut oil and olive oil and is made in a crockpot or
slowcooker.
It can definitely be made on the stovetop, but the beauty of
the slowcooker is that it's all ready for you when you get home at the end of a long day!

Do you need to add lemon juice to applesauce made in
the slowcooker (no sugar added) for freezing?
