Finally, in 2004 the M400 version arrived with a Roush - tuned, 425bhp engine, revised springs and dampers, and
a slower steering rack to make the car less twitchy.

Essentially, the Sport Pack takes the suspension and
steering settings from the S, which means a quicker
steering rack (the standard GT's is two per cent
slower for more relaxed long distance driving) and a stiffer spring rate stiffness.

It's a quicker
rack at the edges,
slower in the middle for longer slogs on the interstate when the
steering wheel should feel optional.
