To check if your dough is elastic, pinch a
small bit of dough, lightly coat with
flour, spread it out.
A little ball
of dough made from a
small amount
of butter, a tiny
bit of sugar, a pinch
of salt, one egg and a little
flour and baking powder is then rolled out and cut into funky shapes and then deep fried.
1) Put

I added two
small potatoes at the carrot stage, and one bunch
of kale at the pearl onion stage, and increased the liquids, butter, and
flour a

But then the other week I went to the local supermercado to try and find a good local
flour tortilla and instead I found these
small, thick, all corn tortillas with a little
bit of lime water, they are now my new favorite!

Whether you mix your dough by hand or use a food processor, the goal is to surround
small bits of fat with
flour and keep it cold.
In a
small cup, mix 1 tsp
of coconut
flour with a
bit of water (just like how you usually do with corn starch) then pour in the mixture to the veggies
It's always worked fine for me with the more recent,
smaller cake mixes, but I know some people add a
bit of extra
flour to compensate for the difference in cake mix size.
I realised I just needed to add something to crisp the cookies up a
bit which ended up being a
small amount
of gluten - free
flour.
I made a few changes: I used all plain
flour (that's all I had), sheep's milk yogurt (I bought it to try and it's weird / gross so I made these to use it up), a little
bit of coconut oil in replace
of about a quarter
of the butter because I didn't want to open a new packet
of butter (I'm just lazy:P), and I used 4
small apples instead
of 2 big (gasp!).

Since you're making a sort
of gravy here, there are all sorts
of delicious things you can add to the reduction sauce as it cooks to flavor it: fresh or dried rosemary, fresh or dried thyme, finely minced garlic or onion, a teensy splash
of balsamic vinegar or lemon juice, and even a
small bit of butter or olive oil and
flour to help the sauce thicken as it reduces.
