I think the average person is more impressed by small top and bottom bezels than
small side bezels.
Small side bezels are nothing new and they aren't impressing anyone anymore.
What made people drool over the Essential phone is the small top bezel, not
the small side bezels.
Samsung is behind in that regard, as their good screen - to - body ratio is all thanks to extremely
small side bezels, not small top and bottom bezels.
We've had
small side bezels on phones for years, so that is no longer exciting to people.
The display size translates to an average handling experience, helped marginally by the remarkably
small side bezels.
But it's also not quite as comfortable to hold one - handed as the Nook Simple Touch, due to the relatively
small side bezel.
As part of last week's refresh, Apple released an updated 12.9 - inch iPad Pro plus an all - new 10.5 - inch iPad, with a much
