For those who had the bread raise up and out of your pan, I made one 9x4» loaf and also
a small round loaf.

After the first 2 hours I thought maybe it did a little (but didn't double), but after making it into 2
round loaves I knew something was wrong, and the
loaves didn't rise at all, and silly me I kept hoping that they would be okay and went ahead and baked them, but they were simply
small, heavy dough - rocks.
The
smaller the pot, the
rounder and higher your
loaf will be.
I use a bread /
loaf pan (the kind that you'd bake a pound cake in, say, or banana bread)-- but you could use
small ramekins and make several
smaller rounds of cheez, too.
I had mini muffins and a
small loaf, so I decided on donuts to
round things out.
This makes a pretty
small loaf cake (only serving 6) so if you want something larger (like an 8 - 9 ″
round or square cake) double the recipe — the baking time will only increase by about 5 - 10 minutes, so keep an eye (err, nose) on it.
In
smaller or circular slow cookers, you may only be able to make
round loaves.
