Very good buy, we actually used this to get rid of the
smell of cat pee on our cushion covers rather than for
diapers, it works better than the normal
laundry powders.
I'd recommend establishing one cloth bag for
diaper trash and one for
laundry, to keep the
diaper smell from permeating your clothes.
If I do start to
smell the
diapers, then I know it's time to do a load of
laundry.
Using my normal
diaper laundry routine above, my
diapers come out
smelling clean and looking clean.
It's basically like a hose that comes out of your sink, you know, one of those old school hoses that comes out to help you do the dishes, same type of thing, next to the toilet, spread off like you do but, our
laundry room is next door so, I just put them in my utility sink that's there and kind of, my husband and I, actually we put in there, we may throw a little oxy cleaner, may be little like earth friendly solution like, back out or something to help with the
smell or we put a spray a little bit with a little bit of you know, deodorizer or something you get in the store that works with
diapers and we throw them in the sink and when I'm ready to do the
laundry, just stays there, piles up.
Better yet, when you do have a sitter and have them just leave the
diaper on the pail for you to take care of (hours later...), you don't have to
smell the stink of unstuffing the
diaper the next day - just attach the
laundry tabs and throw it in the wash (unless of course, you have any poop to rinse off first...)- the inserts agitate out on their own!
Feed hungry babies, wipe up spills, exercise patience, calm squabbles, clean, cook, organize, get the
laundry washed and put away, doctor's appointments, school activities, baseball, football, soccer games, plan celebrations and holidays, decorate for parties and seasons, bake cookies for school events, buy and wrap presents, hugs, kisses, storytime, grocery shop, clothes shop, fix boo - boo's and owies, bring encouragement, pray, comfort hearts and wipe tears, make happy memories, play games together, care for them when they get sick in the middle of the night, change
diapers, bathe the little ones so they're fresh, clean and
smelling sweet, tuck them into bed with prayers at night, get out the door to go to church with hair combed and shoes on, tell them you love them to the moon and back, sit, listen and look into their eyes and savor their sweetness... and a million other things!
