I decided to cook my sweet potatoes with it & I added
a smoked turkey leg to the pot for seasoning.
As the other reviewers said, this is so easy to put in the crockpot and forget it... I couldn't find
a smoked turkey leg, so used a regular turkey leg, and added about 1 T of liquid smoke.
I also used
a smoked turkey leg as I could not get ham hock.
