Of course, we all ate appys and
snacks and treats all afternoon long so by the
time the lasagna was on the table, we were all stuffed and
just eating because it tasted good.
This is an easy, simplified version of my favourite
snack — this
time with
just five ingredients.
The chia seeds make smoothies set as they absorb all the extra liquid, so you can make the same smoothie
just leave out the chia next
time Yes I drink
just a smoothie every morning and then a
snack a few hours later!
Sometimes I
just reach for things when I don't need them, but if I need to defreeze something or make it at that particular
time, I find that I often can't be bothered, so that stops me from unnecessarily
snacking.
This recipe is a great option for a recovery
snack or for those
times when you
just want to feel like you're eating something sinful — but you're NOT!
And they're sized
just right, so your little on - the - go eater can
snack mighty any
time!
You know, besides
just popping them straight into my mouth while hiding from the kids... I wanted to incorporate strawberries into a muffin with another flavor that complemented them for our busy weekday mornings and lazy weekend
snack -
times.
This makes them super tasty and the perfect little nibble for an afternoon
snack or to keep in your bag for any
time you need
just a little something extra to keep you going until your next meal.
I'm trying not to eat sugar for a week or so and was
just on the hunt for savoury muffins to act as a
snack when I decided to read through some blog posts I hadn't got round to reading yet (I favourite them until I have
time... as you can see I'm quite far behind).
I first posted a similar recipe when I started the blog a little over two years ago, but so many of you weren't part of the Fifteen Spatulas family at the
time, and these are
just too great to
snack on this
time of year.
This
snack mix is great for those
times where you
just want something to munch on, maybe while you watch a movie, or as an appetizer at a party... or as you sit at your desk writing a blog post... (oh wait, that's
just me!)
A perfect post-workout
snack with flavor and tanginess —
just combine three ingredients and freeze ahead of
time.
Great
snack, can prep a bunch ahead of
time too —
just beware of beeturia!
Just throw one of these together, and you'll have a delicious
snack in no
time.
We eat it
just about any
time of the day, and especially for a late night
snack.
You can make them ahead of
time and store them in the fridge or freezer and when you're ready,
just toss them into a lunchbox or purse for a quick
snack on the go.
-- On a lower speed, add eggs one at a
time and vanilla until well incorporated — Increase mixing speed to high and let it go for 10 minutes — the mixture will become really pale and will almost double in size — In a medium sized bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt — When 10 minutes are up, add flour mixture slowly until
just combined, about 45 - 60 seconds — Chop up and mix together all of your baking and
snack ingredients in a small bowl, and fold into batter with a spatula until
just incorporated — Using a medium - sized ice cream scoop, portion cookie dough on parchment paper - lined cookie sheet and wrap the entire thing tightly with plastic wrap — Refrigerate for a minimum of 1 hour and up to 1 week — Heat oven to 400F and arrange cookies on cookie sheets at least 4 ″ apart — Bake 9 - 11 minutes, until they are golden in color and slightly brown along the edges — Cool the cookies completely on the sheet pan (or
just eat them immediately...)

snack for busy people who want something reliable in their purse they can eat in between meals or
just as a healthy
snack any
time of the day.
If you're not aware,
snacking cake is
just a fancy term for small pieces of cake with icing that you eat any
time of day.
A lot of
times during
snack time it's easy to scarf down a bucket of Pirate Booty, but to me they are
just empty calories.

time and
just love having them on hand to
snack on!

just elevated sugar at
times of stress.
Most
times, I'll
just scoop handfuls out of the bag to
snack on... but that bag ain't cheap.

time, I think I might
just skip the baking part and leave the dough in the fridge to
snack on.
