Until the current deity of choice (The God of Abraham) actually shows himself, I for one will not accept the talking
snakes, virgin births, and condemnation of personal freedoms that surround the belief in him — like stoning someone for working on the sabbath, or
killing children who curse their parents, or the rules of owning slaves, all concepts clearly stated in the Old Testament.
