Inserts are
snapped onto the lining and tucked
under the front
flap to hold it in place.
Extra material in the rise (if rise
snaps are being used) is pushed upwards, not down, and the front panel edges
under the waist belt are securely tucked into upper thigh creases, while ensuring the «wings» of the front
flap are tucked into the waist band.
Some inserts attach with
snaps or Velcro, and some get tucked
under flaps in the cover.
The Velcro is beneficial for my front
flap issues because it has an extra pul
flap that you can tuck the front of the insert
under (
snap version doesn't).
You can
snap the bamboo inserts in, or just lay in the shell and tuck
under the
flap.
