Believe me, it's super cold here, colder than where you are but I find if you wear a pretty coat over it, once you're inside a place, it no longer is cold I sometimes end up taking my
shoes with me since we have
snow here and I can't
walk in heels in the
snow.
I
walked through a couple of inches of fresh
snow that was dangerously close to falling inside the
shoes so I should have probably worn
snow boots, but they worked fine indoors.
Just pack accordingly —

shoes have heels, but they are very comfortable to
walk around in the
snow and ice.
If you plan to be
walking in the
snow, make sure your
shoes or boots are up to the challenge.
Proper
walking shoes are necessary, and rain or
snow boots should be packed for either occasion.
