We tumbled
down the mowed driveway just
as the sun was
snuggling up to the horizon, with ample, lingering hours of light.
He makes «nary a peep when we put him in his crib now, and recently has taken to actually REACHING OUT for his crib
as we're doing some soothing bouncing /
snuggling / singing in the lead - up time to putting him
down.
So, and even to toddlerhood that it was this thing where everybody sat
down and everybody got calm and quiet and we all sort of
snuggled and I think those moments of connection are really valuable
as older infants and
as toddlers I breastfed them for a long time and that was part of wise because it was a tool in my toolbox of parenting to
snuggle with them and to settle
down you know we do the same thing now but with the book.
Your child can
snuggle with it like a security blanket, or you can lay it
down as a quick mat for play time or tummy time.
Now that he is 14 months, he knows our bed, and he is much easier to put to sleep, and I believe this is because he really does feel safe... I can tell by the way he relaxes
as I sing him a nursery rhyme... he
snuggles close and happily falls asleep and I can even put him
down now after holding hi and signing to him, and I never used to be able to d that for at least 9 months.
So, sit
down,
snuggle that sweet little baby, and chat for
as long
as you want to.
But that is okay, I mean you really got to rest when baby rest and then
snuggle up and learn how to breastfeed lying
down because that is an amazing position that will free your mind like to relax and to breast and try not to be
as rigid because baby don't come with an instruction manual unfortunately and they would constantly be changing everything.
There will be cozy afternoons of leafing through whole magazines devoted solely to you,
as we relax and
snuggle deep
down into our favorite thick sweater in that chair that fits only us exactly right...

As I
snuggled under the fluffy
down duvet, my whole body instantly relaxed and I knew I'd never want this massage treatment to end.
But I have to say it may just find itself getting quite a bit of use over the winter,
as for
snuggling down in front of the TV or reading a good book it really has made quite an impression.

At the time my own children were quite young and the bedtime routine included many
snuggles as they settled

as I want to just
