Since the soy sauce lends
so much to the flavor, I wouldn't cut it too
much — but you certainly could use low
sodium tamari or soy sauce — orrrrr, it may change the flavor a bit, but maybe water down 1/3 to 1/2 of the amount of soysauce with some concentrated unsalted veggie broth.
I am not a food packer,
so I don't know how
much sodium benzotate to use.
Must mention: because we normally prefer / require reduced
sodium diets (
SO much better for you), I will certainly reduce the quantity of salt in this dish — by at least half — for next time.
While it's vital to life, most of us consume too
