This autumn is only my second writing Coconut and Berries but I did read blogs for a few years before that
so I'm fairly used to the
pumpkin fever that takes
over the blogosphere come October time.
These

I have been resisting the
pumpkins so far, but you may have pushed me
over the edge!
I am obsessed with mochi and
pumpkin so I am all
over this!

so I decided to make this with half the napa cabbage I had left

pumpkin seeds and a royal splash of aged balsamic vinegar.
So much in fact that I prefer this one

pumpkin pies I have had in the past.

over from my Halloween baking trials
so I just had to make these
pumpkin pie pancakes.
Luckily the
pumpkin shortage is
over,
so the store shelves are once again stocked with cans of
pumpkin puree.
So when my mom came
over this weekend, and suggested making a
pumpkin roll, I knew it was meant to be.
Flip the loaf
over so that the
pumpkins are on the top, and serve!
The kids were completely disinterested in the Chai
Pumpkin Bread, unsurprisingly, and as of late I haven't been baking things that Juliet particularly likes,
so I offered to make her something she'd like, and after some waffling
over the cookies vs. muffins debate, she made her wishes known: Lemon Poppy Seed Muffins, please.
These

Delicata is my favourite too, it's the only
pumpkin I grow every year:) I would be very happy being served this meal
over the holidays, it looks
so homey and nourishing.
I followed Alanna's
Pumpkin Dip recipe
over at A Veggie Venture, only I subbed the dairy - based cream cheese with Cashew Cream Cheese
so it would be casein - free.
I could not find enough small
pumpkins (
pumpkin season nearly
over)
so, I substituted acorn squash.
Plus, I'm always looking for new ways to use
pumpkin,
so I enjoy seeing new recipes created by others all
over the web this time of year.
Japanese
pumpkin (kabocha), sliced very thin
so it can grill
over lukewarm coals, often figures prominently.
It doesn't specify ground
so I would assume whole — only I can't see crunching down on a clove while turning my tongue
over chocolatey,
pumpkin goodness.
Pumpkin loses quite a bit of weight once the peel and seeds are removed

Hi Nancy — you only need one cup of
pumpkin so I bought a 15 oz can but had a little left
over.
Kelly from Studio DIY painted these one in acrylics,
so there's no tutorial, but if you want to see more pictures of

Making caramel from scratch is a bit tricky,
so I used store bought hot caramel sauce, then stirred in some
pumpkin puree and
pumpkin pie spice
over low heat.
It seems every family has their way to manage this (Linda's house has the Great
Pumpkin that comes the week before Thanksgiving to take the rest of the candy away),
so we'll throw out a few suggestions we've heard
over the years.
My 5 - year - old has asked me about 20 times
