The ox is a brilliant player and I definitely believe he can surpass Walcott but he wants to play center mid so I guess we'll see what Arsene does, about the one trick pony thing when he plays he stretches the play not letting defenses drop off, pure pace creates space but that is only worth it if there's end product, and Theo sets up his fair share of assists and also hits the net there's loads more tricky wingers out there who have no end product so what do you pick?
Per is very slow, I wish he was faster atimes but ppl under rate him a lot and please football is not all about pace; Per plays with his brains and we tend to applaud players who play with more aggression unfortunately he doesn't; I will use an eg, if it was Per marking Hazard instead of Koscielny in d build up to the chelsea penalty, he would have probably gone backwards trying to stay on d right side of hazard so he doesn't shoot and narrowing d angle so that our goalie easily picks up d ball, that's how Per plays and to me that's subtle but intelligent option in that scenario but that style of play doesn't get plenty credit.

IMO, diaby was to much gift than wilshere... the truth is wilshere jas a nice dribble an avereage pass and an awfull shoot... he has a lot of energy and playa with his hearth... the last was the best of his qualities... he is a fan, so he can die for the team... but talking about football quality, diaby was a lot better... diaby was absoulutly outstanding each time he plays... inteligent player, dribbling, pace, strenght, great pass, great shot... losing him was a very low kick, one of those things that wenger was not guiltt but victim (one of just a few)

The 21 - year old is currently playing in the Championship for Ipswich Town and his usual role is as a left back, but at 6ft 3in and with his power and pace, it is thought that he could easily make the switch to central defence, which is coincidentally the weakest part of the Arsenal squad right now.

We have target man who feeds off of tap - ins and headers and a playmaker who loves to play through balls out to wingers with pace, so I have no idea why Wenger keeps playing with Cazorla on the left.
Futhermore, theo is different frm all our attackers, he gives us something diffrnt, he has rarely played this season yet he has scored as many as our «hardworking ox» has scored all season, he assists more than any other winger in epl, the keep talk shit abt theo tracking back, the fact is, theo doesn't need to track back, when he plays, opposing fullbacks rarely push up field becus they are scared of his pace, so that leaves our fullback one on one with their winger, now, does our fullback need help frm theo to mark his man??? Only if that winger is Messi, Ronaldo or Robben, if they not either of those three and our fullback can not handle them, then he is not good enough for arsenal!
Chelsea play a large chunk of their football on the counter-attack, taking advantage of the pace in their attacking line and wings to hurt teams, but our play is not so direct, as we prefer to build up slowly and with Ozil in our side, there is less room to play in the way the champions do.
He had a good Cup Final and showed how good he is in the air anticipating crosses and in doing so took a lot of pressure off our central defenders.I believe that our young keeper had previously tired of Mertesackers frailties i.e. lack of pace, poor defensive heading and constantly ducking away from the ball at last moments.Hence his rather rash and angry attempt to tackle outfield against Southampton to make a pretty futile point Must be a nightmare to play behind that guy.
i was very impressed with coquelin but we could all see the way newcastle was fowling him im worried it only a matter of time before his injured so we need suffcient cover arteta is ok but if something happens to coquelin (i pray it doesn't) where his out for a couple of games arteta can not play a bunch of games for 90 mins all the time so im hoping arsene is looking at a DM has we speak also on theo, to be fair to him he actually did ok great movement but it brings me to think that giroud and walcott can play together in a 442 formation because giroud can provided the hold up play for walcott to make runs and walcott can make the runs to allow space for giroud if walcott has gioroud finishing and giroud walcott pace we properly would be with man city at the top of the league
This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where players play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points in the latter part of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive players can remain aggressive in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3 players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill players we've seen on this squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6 players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
The formation won't work this season with Giroud out till after Xmas and with Wenger spending so much on pace for the wings, our style of play will have to change or we won't be scoring any goals.
I think the major reason Wenger did not sign a strong DM is because of Diaby, Wenger may think it s his last chance to prove what he is capable of and he is when fit so I expect to see a breaktrough or fail from Diaby. You have to admire the loyalty of Wenger on those kind of point, the team is still short of defender but I do think that a Diaby fit can be a good DM as he is tall, strong and technical. There is 3 new striker, Campbell and Sanchez who can play the wings and a tall, strong Wellbeck who can bully the defenders in the box, all three have pace so it s an upgrade on Giroud and Sanogo.
When Bellerin first came into the side he not only defended well but was always so dangerous going forward. His pace and ability to go outside his marker gave us an attacking outlet that allowed us to play without a recognised right sided attacker which coincided with Walcott getting less and less game time.We all thought this boy was going to turn into someone very special and so obviously did the management who apparently renewed his contract on a reputed # 100k per week. What have we seen since then?A player that seems as indecisive and under coached as the rest of the defenders at the club.A player that has rarely delivered a performance that reflected his initial early form.A player whose body language seems to display his displeasure at being at our club when Barcelona reputedly offered # 40m for him in the close season.
Laca has a beard - so does Giroud.Other than the fact they are both French there is no comparison.Give this kid (yeah I know he's 26 but that's still young at my age) the service and he will be a top top player.Look at his movement and see how frustrated he gets as the ball continually goes from side to side and backwards.I see a lot of Ian Wright in this boy but even Wrighty would struggle with the way we are set up and play. When Sánchez is gone he will become our main man and just watch the difference.Remember those days when the football was slick and fast?Remember when we had pace all through the team and had players who knew how to use it?When we change manager a bring in a coach who gets the best from players by playing to their strength you will see a totally different Lacazette and Arsenal
so play pace ahead of him..

our problem is not the defense we cant just score goals with so many attempts we shoudl have scored 4 - 5 goals and win it by 5 - 2 without a creative midfielder like Cazorla or Ramsey (when he plays well) our attacking play is very predictable maybe playing Iwobi instead of Elneny or Coq is at least better But Wenger's biggest mistake was to play Chambers instead of Bellerin Bellerin with his pace opens up the opponents.
Only thing against him is his lack of pace, which is troubling because Arsenal always plays a high line so he could easily get caught out.
I would play chambers in dm position alongside ramsey with ozil having free role behind sanchez and ox on right that gives us plenty of pace and will allow ozil to get on the ball more and produce his magic passes he will be much more influential then stuck out on the wing espec as he is poor at tracking back so lets play to his strengths that will get the best out of him and in turn create more chances for forwards!
With Arsenal now on a run of seven straight wins in a row with Middlesbrough next in line for a beating, it was always going to hard for Arsene Wenger to drop anyone with the team playing so well, but Le Prof made four changes for last nights match against Ludgorets, and perhaps this team was even stronger than the one that struggled to maintain the pace against Swansea on Saturday.
Vardy overall style of play is similar to Walcott, they like to receive passes threaded through space at displaced defenders, defenders running back toward thier goal so that they could used thier pace most of Vardy goals were scored in that fashion.
if you watch arsenal place I see so much space and no runs no runs at all only when in the box if you watch Leicester they are always makeing runs all over the place that's how you score goals against a team like Southampton they controlled the game it was not unlucky just like chelsea can do control the game and won arsenal players don't believe they can win the title the players in that team play without heart you know why because Im sure wenger tells them becareful we don't need anymore Injurys what kind of mentality is that also I will pick out Ramsey he is playing like a player who is leaveing the club he and flamini just don't work Ramsey is not playing good at all wenger can blame make excuses but truth is he is the manager he make the tactics and he gets it wrong all the time giroud has no pace none bench him against some teams and play pure pace make runs ox Walcott but they don't Walcott has lost it his pace has gone its clear or he fears I jury how if a player is fit put your all in forget injury if you get Injured then so be it but if your fit and your Walcott run put yourself about wenger should leave because he.
The reason terry seemed so good is that Chelsea rarely play a high line like we have in the recent past so that terry isn't abused for his lack of pace like mertesacker has happen once in a while.
Walcott though limited would be very confident against Man united Cech (No word he has shocked me, Wow this guy is too great for a team with wenger as coach) Bellerin (He really has to improve his attacking side nd try to take on defenders) Chambers (Hez really good against de big guns & always gud in de middle of de park) Kos (Hez been a bit de-moltivated due to wengers lack of ambition hope Man u will do) Mon (link - up with walcott on the left would be breath of fresh air) Coq (great tackler, stamina & power) Ramsey (great passer of de ball, professional & great stamina) Sanchez (on the right, so he won't always play predictably) Walcott (thats where he was effective the last time against man u) Welbeck (Pace, goals & trickery) Giroud (Power, bully, link - up & goals) 4 -4-2 formation
So we are playing an inexperienced centre backs against the pace of Mane, Firmino, Coutinhno and the likes.
Cahill needs a team built around him to compensate for his lack of pace and his lack of comfort on the ball so while he may play, I wouldn't expect him to be an ever - present next season.
But it has still been looking more and more like Arsene Wenger was thinking about playing Gabriel alongside Koscielny as our first choice pairing, as the Brazilian has that same pace and aggression that is so necessary in the rough and tumble of the Premier League.
Wenger only plays one upfront, and he doesn't utilise Giroud's aerial threat enough, so we need pace, and mobility, that correctly suit Wenger's style of play.
So, Manfred could push through pace of play whether the union wants it or not, so long as the version put into place is the one proposed a year agSo, Manfred could push through pace of play whether the union wants it or not, so long as the version put into place is the one proposed a year agso long as the version put into place is the one proposed a year ago.
Now to the article I would like to add that while sitting back the teams also give much space to our full backs and after manu match some guy told bellerin is making his own position of right wing right back he is so true as bellerin overlapping runs have increased and he has created most no of clearcut chances this is the effect of playing wallcott as a striker also monreal seems to improve his attacking play now even if we lose balls it give more times to our player to track back and snatch the ball as we have bellerin le coq who has also good pace in him.
