so real bacon (or rabbit, ha) can be used as well.

bacon, the crunch factor & is totally healthy v. the
real deal.
I didn't have any
bacon so I substituted with
real bacon bits.i used regular large mushrooms (about 3 cups sliced).
But what if you could create a plant - based snack
so bacon - like that even meat lovers struggle to distinguish it from the
real thing?
I used turkey
bacon b / c that was all we had on hand
so not as much
bacon drippings, but I can imagine the sweet / salty taste of
real pork

Instead, we're going to try a higher protein and lower glycemic meal of eggs, potatoes, bell peppers, and a small serving of oats (and, let's be
real, a slice or two of
bacon)
so that I'm not feeling low on energy just a couple miles into our hike.
They probably ate
real food such as eggs and
bacon for breakfast
so they were not hungry between breakfast and lunch.

so much more as well...
bacon, coconut flakes, hemp seeds, lots of leafy greens (kale and spinach), broccoli, macadamia nuts (these are a bit expensive
so not always), peanut butter, cream cheese,
real butter....
Ah well, I do love a good salad AS a meal,
so long as I add some cheese or protein (like maybe, rabbit),
so no doubt I will substitute
REAL BACON CHUNKS (vegan is like a cuss word to Mr Shoes) and enjoy a good plate of roughage.
