I use a Maldon flaked sea salt, which is not always easy to find,

leave this off; I just love the salty /

I did today, which was
so awesome!!!! My blender was broken and sent back to repair,
so i had to do everything manually, from smashing the
sweet potato & dates, crushing the nuts (I used hazelnut) into flour (this one was hard,
so finally its more like bits...), and
left out for the agave syrup (was
so sweet for me already), though it was lots of work but just
so great!
I played with
so many different flavours and decided that this batch was my favourite — I love the subtle blend of spicy cumin, tangy lemon,
sweet basil
leaves and creamy tahini blended with chickpeas, olive oil and water until perfectly smooth.
I think that these are
sweet enough with just the
sweet potatoes and dates and often
leave out the agave,
so I'm sure that you'd find the same!
I also found that my
sweet potatoes turned into mash as I stirred them into the mixture
so next time will
leave the skins on and my bite sizes bigger.
We didn't have any
sweet potatoes
left so I used home made pumpkin puree instead, which was a pretty smart idea as I'd say
so myself, because they came out great!

sweet potato «fries» are actually baked,
so there's that, and one of the
sweet potatoes I used was a Thanksgiving
leave - behind,
so I was happy to be able to put it to good use!
The apricots almost melt away,
leaving a thick sauce that is slightly
sweet, but not overly
so.
This recipe comes together in seconds in your blender,
so all you're
left to do is stir in massive chunks of dairy free, unsweetened chocolate to balance out all the
sweet fruity goodness.
I don't want to make a
sweet version
so do I just
leave out the honey in the mix?

I dropped in a few drops of Stevia as I wasn't sure that the batter was
sweet enough, but one person commented that it was almost too
sweet,
so I think I'll
leave it out next time.
Being food obsessed as we are, we couldn't let them
leave hungry,
so we came up with a few

I was crunched for time
so just threw everything into a pot, added
left over chicken fat from the night before, and a white
sweet potato, but didn't have time to crush fresh garlic gloves, and didn't even think about making a dill oil to go with it!
It's quite
sweet and has the potential to be quite strong,
