so excited about this thought that salvation has nothing to do with eternal life but is speaking of losing the ability to be an overcomer in Christ.Having been there as a carnal christian i always believed in Jesus but i felt i did nt have the power to live a christian life

than being a victim of the enemy.Whether we are an overcomer or not does nt effect our eternal life.brentnz

so much then why he doesn't destroy satun or put him in prison forever and why doesn't he tells the holy spirit to forgive whatever any person says just like him and Jesus i want to know thst but i noticed in all your replies except one that you were telling me everything i was asking except this in short if i say «he allows us to hate him» and i also want to know that if a person is sent in hell for his
sins then will he go back to heaven after completing his punishment or stay there forever and also will any person who have commited the unforgivable
sin one day be freed and allowed to go to heven or be reborn on Earth and if god has infinite love for us why don't he force us to belive in Jesus just before dying and then as he goes to heven show Jesus to him and then give him a rebirth as soon as his turn comes and then countinue this becaude going to heaven would be better much more
than going to hell especialy for those who have commited the unforgivable

sins sactification and the resurection at Christs return. This is what i meant regarding theology one has to be careful otherwise you exclude groups of christians because some of there other theology may not be the same as ours. They still hold to the central truths of the bible but have differences ie like sabbaths or baptism but that does not mean they arent saved or are christians. What church denomination do you belong to if you mentioned jehovah witness or mormons that is a different story as they do nt believe that Jesus Christ is central to there faith they have relegated him to nothing more
than a prophet
so there is no salvation in those religions.brentnz

sins of their youth, a fact which gives their work an air of strain, as if they cared less about advancing philosophical knowledge
than about proving themselves good enemies of idealism, Whitehead's work is perfectly free from all this sort of thing, and he suffers from no obsessions; obviously he does not care what he says,
so long as it is true.

So where do you go from here as i found myself in the same situation i was a christian but walking according to the flesh.God does nt change his mind he always loves us but because of our choices we distance ourselves from God.The issue is that we like
sin thats our wicked hearts and to be fair we cant change our nature only Christ can do that our old nature must be crucified with Christ. The stumbling block is our pride we have to admit that we cant do it For me that was terribly difficult i was
so independent thinking i could do anything but the truth was a made a real mess of things.I sense you are at a crossroads and are feeling desperate and confused.

Rick the more i think about it we are to live as overcomers not strugglers since the day i decided to turn away from the
sin that was controlling my life i never fell back into old sinful patterns not once, was i tempted many many times. The Lord will work in our lives one area at a time he needs us to give him full control
so if an area is taking control we do need to hand it to him
so he can change us.How do we do it immediately we say Lord you know i am weak but in you i am strong i leaned on him and overcame time and time again. We all have areas of weakness that we struggle in
so do nt feel bad.Struggling is us trying to do it in our own strength before this process i was
so stubborn i refused to let God help me i wanted to do it in my own strength and
so it was a roller coaster ride in my christian walk if the day went well i was on a high if it did nt i would would be down. Not any more now when things do nt go to plan i still thank the Lord and when it goes well i thank the Lord.Because i know that all things work for good to those who love the Lord. The main area he is wanting is our hearts he wants all our heart not only some until we come to that place we will continue to struggle in our faith. The only reason to tell you this is not to boast because of what i have done in myself because i have nothing to boast about but if i did i would brag that Christ has empowered me by his holy spirit to be an overcomer just as he would want you to be.As Christians we are all called to be overcomers more
than conquerers.Make a decision today to turn all your hearts to the Lord to acknowledge the areas you are holding onto that are controlling your flesh life hand them to the Lord and walk according to the spirit and not the flesh and he will give you the victory. That can be a reality starting today merry christmas everyone and may the new year be an exciting one as we put all our trust in Christ our Lord and savior.Brentnz
I prefer to conceptualize Christianity in this exemplary resurrectional fashion, as did many of the Greek Fathers, rather
than in the crude Roman legalistic sense of
sin - punishment - vicarious expiation,
so popular with the African Fathers and particularly with Tertullian, the proto - canon lawyer, God help him.
while breifly going thru this artical it was makeing my stomach turn, this is just what the devil wants is for doubt and confusion, christianity is growing stronger
than ever, souls are being saved and lives are changing every day, and do nt for one minute think any different, or try tp put christians down, why would we loose faith, god answers our prayers everyday, think what you want and do what you do, but do nt try to put things in other people's opinion or minds, jesus died for our
sins,
so that we can have better lives and be forgiven for our
sins here on earth and move on to a beter place, becouse souls do nt die «read the bible, if you do nt understand it, find a church that can help you learn a better way of life, I pray for everyone out there that does nt know jesus christ as ther savior to accept what he has to offer to you «love forgiveness and ever lasting life «Christians» stay strong and [ass the word of god on and share all your tedtimonies in life» god bless everyone»»

so far as to say that alienating social structures are central to the transmission of the alienated and fallen condition of patriarchal

So instead of God being called a bully, we say his judgements are indisputable, unchangeable and everlasting; he is better
than us, high and lifted up, all powerful and holy; he is disappointed or sorrowful or angry about our
sin; he constantly convicts us by the Holy Spirit; he sends us suffering in order to teach us, discipline us and inevitably bring us in line with his ways; and he threatens us with exclusion from him and his group now or forever in Hell unless we repent and straighten up.
In fact, my gayness was the cliff edge for me in deciding whether to give my heart to Christ many years ago; the fellow who led me to Christ said no
sin was greater
than the blood of Jesus, and
so I had to give in to His love, no matter what judgement I put on myself because of the curses I had received from those who hate gays.
What I find intriguing, and rather pathetic, is why the «
sin» of gayness gets
so much more attention
than, say, the «
sin» of overeating, or the «
sin» of breaking the speed limit.
Janet i think what you have said is quite insightful and you are right and there is another meaning to Go and
sin no more and that speaks to me of repentence making a decision to Follow Christ the one who saves. The words Go and
sin no more is referring to a continual ongoinging process of living for Christ rather
than dying in our
sins daily there is no comparison.I thought that was awesome pointing the law back to all of us for we all have
sinned and the judgement is death but Jesus came that we might have life in its fullness. Many people only see the adulterer when she portrays who we are as sinners that he came to save all of us
sin is
sin and the punishment is death
so again you are quite right people use the scriptures to judge and that was never Jesus intention.I hope that helps when someone uses that scripture incorrectly and you can you use it like Jesus did to point it back at those who judge i hope that helps.brentnz
