Sometimes, when I can be bothered and have plenty of time,
I soak them in a bowl of water.
Take all of the crayons and
soak them in a bowl of water for an hour (this step is an important one and one we didn't figure out until we spent too much time trying to take all the paper off our crayons).
When I bought mine I was told to let the roots
