at Arrillaga Family Dining Commons were invited to participate in grinding dry chickpeas into flour that was used to make
socca, a naturally gluten - free, vegan pancake that hails from southern France.
I made
socca (with some cumin
at Isabel's suggestion), but I also made chickpea shortbread cookies.
Socca has stolen my heart, or
at least my tastebuds.
