I identified with every word, I'd say I'm mainly plant based, but like yourself I have a meat
eating partner, and often when we are in a resturant of his choice, I'd rather go for something like fresh fish with steamed veggies than pasta pizza etc... Although I 100 % stay away from meat now (I never liked the taste anyway) when I'm out in a
