I chose to go with a simple centerpiece: a rustic
wooden soda crate layered with my favorite white linen and lace runner, some colorful pumpkins and a pot of mums from my local grocery store.

Up soda crate packed with purple sweet potoato vine, various types of autumn kale, purple pansies, a bright yellow mum and the cutest «tiger striped» mini-pumpkins.

My Summer flowers still looked too pretty to tear out and replace with mums, so I added a few fallish touches like
a soda crate full of mini gourds that grew as a surprise patch out by our barn, a few minnow buckets, and an assortment of old lanterns.
