Bank View caters
for autistic pupils and those with emotional and behavioural difficulties, while Redbridge is attended by
children with profound and multiple learning difficulties, with the school building accommodating specialist facilities including a hydrotherapy pool, sensory rooms, a
soft play area and a therapy room.
Mothers were asked whether their
child had done any of the following activities during the past week
for at least ten minutes (including at school, pre-school or nursery): riding a bicycle, throwing or kicking a ball, running and / or jumping,
playing on a trampoline, swimming,
playing at a
soft play area or ball swamp,
playing at a
play / swing park, or other activities (a list of activities was used to prompt parents).
